I am the hearing possessed by everyone.
I am the speech that cannot be understood, and the voice that is everywhere.
I am the name of the sound and the sound of the name.
I am the one above and the one below,
     the defiler and the defiled,
     the saint and the sinner,   
     the slave and the master.
