Vi lærker under himlens blå
(Sung text for setting by P. Heise)
 See original
Language: Danish (Dansk)
„Vi Lærker under Himlens Blaae,
I grønne Græs paa Vangen,
Laer Verden gaae, som den vil gaae
Og leve kun for Sangen.

 ...

Vi sætte kjækt vor Harmonie
Her i vort høie Stade;
Er der end ringe Mening i,
Er vi dog lige glade.

Saa dale vi fra høien Slot
Til grønne Vang dernede,
Hvor mellem Blomster luunt og godt
Vi bygget har vor Rede.

Der er saa hyggeligt og Plads
Til Store og til Spæde,
Der er jo ikke megen Stads,
Men desto mere Glæde.

 ...
