De schaduw van een taxusboom?
Op de taxusboom een bleke duif, 
Droevig en alleen in de ondergaande zon,
Zingt zijn lied:

Zal ik gaan, wanneer de avond valt 
In zijn zwarte mantel, 
Om de bleke duif te horen
