Language: Basque (Euskara)
Lurraren pian sar dindaiteke, maitia, zure ahalgez!
Bost pentsaketa eginik nago zurekin ezkondu beharrez;
Borta barnetik zerratu eta beti kanberan nigarrez,
Sendimenduiak airian eta bihotzetikan dolorez . . .
Ene xangrinez hilerazteko sortuia zinen arauez!

Oren unian sortuia zinen izar ororen izarra!
Zure parerik ez zaut jiten neure begien bistara.
Espos laguntzat gald'egin zintudan erran nerauzun ebzala:
Bainan zuri ez iruditu zuretzat aski nintzala;
Ni baino hobe batekila Jainkoak gerta zitzala!

Marinelak juaiten dira itsaora untziko:
Zureganako amodioa sekulan ez dut utziko.
Xarmagarria, nahiz ez giren elgarrekilan biziko;
Bihotzian sartu zitzautzat eternitate guziko.

Primaberan zoinen eder den xoria kantuz faguan!
Amodiuak ibili nu, maitia, zure onduan;
Deusetan ere ez zaitut nahi bortxatu amodiuan:
Xangrin huntarik hiltzen banaiz, satisfa zaite goguan,
Malerusik aski izanen naiz nihaur bakarrik munduan!
