An Kitty
 (Sung text for setting by W. Goethe)

Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT CHI ENG ENG FRE
Der Herbst ist angekommen,
Es fallen die Blätter herab;
Und Alles was lebt und blühet,
Das muss einmal in's Grab.

Die Wipfel des Waldes umflimmert
Ein schmerzlicher Sonnenschein;
Das mögen die letzten Küsse
Des sterbenden Sommers seyn.

Mir ist, als müßt ich weinen
Aus tiefster Seele Grund;
Diese Sonne thut mich mahnen
An unsre Abschiedsstund'.

Du musstest mich verlassen,
Und wußte, du stürbest bald;
Du warst der scheidende Sommer,
Ich bin der sterbende Wald.

El fullatge engroguit tremola
 (Sung text translation for setting by W. Goethe)
 See original
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
El fullatge engroguit tremola,
cauen les fulles seques;
ai, tot el que era encisador i adorable,
es marceix i s’enfonsa en la tomba.

El pampallugueig d’una llum de sol adolorida
envolta les capçades del bosc;
semblen els darrers besos
de l’estiu que se’n va.

Em vénen ganes de plorar
del més profund del meu cor;
aquesta imatge em recorda
l’hora de la nostra separació.

De tu, em vaig haver d’acomiadar,
sabent que aviat et moriries;
jo era l’estiu que se’n anava
i tu, el bosc malaltís.
