Das Vöglein singt so sacht,
Und aus des Himmels Träumen
Schau'n Sternlein in der Nacht.

Schlaf' sanft, mein Kind,
Dich hüten der Englein Flügelein,
Und Paradieses Blüten sind
All' die Träume dein.
