Die ihr den Äther mit seligen Schwingen durchschneidet,
Segnende Hände über uns Irrende breitet,
Die ihr den Seelen, die weinend ins Dunkel gesunken,
Leuchtet mit Augen, die ewige Sonne getrunken --
Gütige Sterne, wie oft, aus dem Schatten der Erde,
Blick ich auf euch, daß Frieden und Licht in mir werde!

les mans damunt nosaltres, els errats, per beneir-nos, vosaltres, 
que amb els vostres ulls, ebris de sol etern, il·lumineu les ànimes 
que, plorant, estan immerses en la foscúria –
benignes estrelles, quantes vegades, des de les ombres de la terra
us he esguardat, a fi que la pau i la llum en mi s’esdevinguin!
