Wasserfahrt
(Sung text for setting by R. Franz)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Über die hellen
Funkelnden Wellen
Tanzen Libellen den lustigen Tanz,
Fröhlich und munter,
Auf und hinunter,
Schweben und weben im sonnigen Glanz.

Kühlende Lüfte,
Liebliche Düfte,
Wonniges Wetter und Vogelgesang!
Gleich den Libellen
Über den Wellen
Schwebt unser Nachen das Ufer entlang

Blumen und Bäume
Fliegen wie Träume,
Alles enteilet und schwindet dahin.
Doch im Enteilen
Lassen wir weilen,
Weilen im Herzen den fröhlichen Sinn.
