Die in der Blätter keuschen Busen sinkt
Und milden Thau und linden Honig trinkt,
Selig die Magd, die dir, o Rose, diene!
In Freuden schwebet ihr Gemüth,
Weil ihre Rose blüht.

Die Rose blüht, Gott lass' doch milde glühen 
Der Sonne Licht, hüll' Ros' und Röselein
Gen Frost und Gluth in deine Gnade ein,
Laß alle Lieb' in dieser Rose blühen,
Dann singt das ganze hohe Lied:
Ach, unsre Rose blüht!
