Reizen oft gefangen hält.

Leichte, lichte, klare Schäume,
Alles Irdischen befreit,
Ob ihr schöne Heimwehträume

Marvellous colourful veils.

Sprung forth from the blue air,
A colourful, lovely world,
Which with mysterious allures
Often holds me captive.

Gentle, bright, clear foams,
Freed of everything earthly,
Might you be beautiful homesick dreams
Of the tainted earth?
