Language: Danish (Dansk)
Kun af den sagtnende Dønning
En Lyd, som paa enkelte dybtstemte Strenge,
Et døende Spil. Det varer ej længe,
Saa tier det altsammen stille;
Natvinden standser sin Trille,
Stjernen ser til.

Op fra de skumrende Strande,
Fra Søen, som sover saa dybt, som den Sunde
Ene formaar,
Der stiger i Blunde
Tanker til Gengæld for Lyde,
Syner, som jeg kun kan tyde,
Du kun forstaar.
