Kärleken
 (Sung text for setting by E. Bergman)
 Matches original text
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Bannande sin dotter talte modren:
"Flicka, jag för kärleken dig varnat,
Och jag finner att jag varnat fåfängt."
Dottren sade: "var ej oblid, moder:
Stängde jag mig in, att undfly honom,
Flög han med hvart solgrand in i rummet;
Gick jag åter ut och rymde undan,
Hörde jag hans suck i hvarje vindfläkt;
Slöt jag både ögon till och öron,
Sprang han skälmsk uti mitt eget hjerta."
