In dieser Schattenkühle
Der Einsamkeit im Schooß,
Wird alles was ich fühle
So still, so klar, so groß.
Kein Wunsch mehr, kein Begehren,
Geschlichtet jeder Zwist --
Ich kann der Welt entbehren,
Wo du o Liebe bei mir bist.
