Our translations: CAT DUT ENG FIN FRE HEB IRI ITA
Holder klingt der Vogelsang,
Wann die Engelreine,
Die mein Jünglingsherz bezwang,
Wandelt durch die Haine.
Röther blühet Thal und Au,
Grüner wird der Wasen,
Wo mir Blumen, rot und blau,
Ihre Hände lasen.
Ohne sie ist alles todt,
Welk sind Blüt' und Kräuter;
Und kein Frühlingsabendroth
Dünkt mir schön und heiter.
Traute, minnigliche Frau,
Wollest nimmer fliehen;
Daß mein Herz, gleich dieser Au,
Mög' in Wonne blühen!

Heerlijk klinkt de vogelzang,
Als mijn lief, mijn leven,
Die mijn jeugdig hart innam,
Wandelt door de dreven.
Roder bloeien dal en wei,
Groener wordt de aarde
Waar zij bloemen allerlei
Met haar hand vergaarde.
Zonder haar is alles dood,
Kwijnen bloem en kruiden;
En geen lenteavondrood
Kan mij vreugd bereiden.
Lieve, liefelijke vrouw,
Wil toch nooit meer weggaan;
Dat mijn hart, als deze gouw,
Moge blij in bloei staan!
