Schmeichelnd hold und lieblich klingen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  DUT ENG FRE SPA
Schmeichelnd hold und lieblich klingen
Unsers Lebens Harmonien,
Und dem Schönheitssinn entschwingen
Blumen sich, die ewig blühn.

Fried und Freude gleiten freundlich,
Wie der Wellen Wechselspiel.
Was sich drängte rauh und feindlich,
ordnet sich zu Hochgefühl.

Wenn der Töne Zauber walten
Und des Wortes Weihe spricht,
Muß sich Herrliches gestalten,
Nacht und Stürme werden Licht.

Äuß're Ruhe, inn're Wonne
Herrschen für den Glücklichen,
Doch der Künste Frühlingssonne
Läßt aus Leiden Licht entstehn.

Großes, das ins Herz gedrungen,
Blüht dann neu und schön empor,
Hat ein Geist sich aufgeschwungen,
Hallt ihm stets ein Geisterchor.

Nehmt denn hin, ihr schönen Seelen,
Froh die Gaben schöner Kunst!
Wenn sich Lieb' und Kraft vermählen,
Lohnt dem Menschen Götter Gunst.

Halagadoras, deliciosas y dulces
Language: Spanish (Español)  after the German (Deutsch)
Halagadoras, deliciosas y dulces
suenan las armonías de nuestra vida
y del sentido de la belleza
nacen flores que brotan eternas.

Paz y alegría se deslizan amables
como el ir y venir de las olas.
y lo que apremiaba rudo y hostil
se convierte en sublime sentimiento.

Cuando reina la magia de los acordes
y habla la solemnidad de la palabra
ha de surgir el esplendor, la noche
y las tormentas se tornarán luz:

Calma exterior y deleite interior
reinarán para el feliz,
y el sol primaveral de las artes
hará brotar luz de ambos.

Florecerá entonces con renovado esplendor
la grandeza que invadió el corazón;
Y cuando, sobre alas, el espíritu se eleva,
un coro celestial sonará para él.

Vosotras, almas hermosas, aceptad pues alegres
las dádivas del bello arte
Cuando se funden el amor y la fuerza
el hombre alcanza el favor de los dioses.
