Petites llàgrimes veig tremolar,
suau rosada en una flor malalta,
deslliurança final de fosques tristeses,
ric esplet de venturança després de la tempesta.

Petites llàgrimes veig créixer
en el dolç, profund mar de benaurança,
i el trist esguard de pàl·lids infants
esdevé joia lluminosa d’ones daurades.
