Fa poc vaig passar pel cementiri
i vaig veure les severes creus erectes.
Aleshores, d’una filera de sepulcres
m’arribà un perfum de flors.

El perfum era tan suaument balsàmic,
tan dolç i corprenedor,
com si, per damunt de mort i sepultura,
fervorosament, una ànima em saludés.
