by Richard Fedor Leopold Dehmel (1863 - 1920)

Sehnsucht
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FRE
In meiner Liebsten Garten
die lange schwarze Nacht
wollt ich wol gerne warten,
bis daß sie mir aufgemacht.

Viel weiße Liljen blühen um
tieftiefen Brunnens Schlund;
drin funkeln die goldnen Sterne,
drin glänzt der silberne Mond.

Und wie in den Brunnen schauen
die lieben Sterne hinein,
ist mir ins Herze gefallen
Deiner lieben Augen Schein.

Die Sterne an dem Himmel,
die stehen gar so fern;
in meiner Liebsten Garten,
da ständ ich gar so gern.
