Das Lebewohl
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Czech (Čeština)
Our translations:  FRE
Auf dem Feldplan dort
Wallt das Ährenmeer,
Und milde Lüfte
Wehn es hin und her;

Lebe wohl, mein Lieb,
Denke fern auch mein!
Des Lebens werd ich
So nimmer mich freun.

Mir wird Lust zur Qual,
Bist du von mir fern,
Wenn mir nicht hold lacht
Deines Auges Stern.

Ach, mein Glück ist fort,
Fort aus diesen Aun;
Ihr Lockengold,
Soll ich nimmer schaun.

Ach, das goldne Haar
Decket voll und lang
Den Schwanenhals ihr
Wie Silber so blank.

Des Lebens werd ich
So nimmer mich freun,
Leb, ach lebe wohl,
Denk auch ferne mein.

L'adieu
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Là sur la plaine
La mer des épis s'agite,
Et des brises légères
Soufflent de-ci de-là ;

Adieu, mon amour,
Pense à moi de loin !
De ma vie je ne serai
Jamais aussi heureux.

La joie sera pour moi une douleur,
Quand tu seras loin de moi,
Quand ne me souriront plus
Les étoiles de tes yeux.

Ah ! Mon bonheur est parti,
Parti de ces prairies ;
Leurs boucles dorées,
Je ne les reverrai jamais.

Ah ! la chevelure longue et dorée
Recouvre complètement
Ton cou de cygne,
Aussi blanc que l'argent.

De ma vie je ne serai
Jamais aussi heureux,
Adieu, ah, adieu,
Pense à moi de loin !
