Mir wird Lust zur Qual,
Bist du von mir fern,
Wenn mir nicht hold lacht
Deines Auges Stern.

Ach, mein Glück ist fort,
Fort aus diesen Aun;
Ihr Lockengold,
Soll ich nimmer schaun.

Ach, das goldne Haar
Decket voll und lang
Den Schwanenhals ihr
Wie Silber so blank.

Des Lebens werd ich
So nimmer mich freun,
Leb, ach lebe wohl,
Denk auch ferne mein.
