by Aleksey Fyodorovich Merzlyakov (1778 - 1830)

Solovushko
Language: Russian (Русский)
Dlya chego letish`, solovushko, k sadam?
Dlya solovushki aleet roza tam.
Chem ponravilsya luzhok mne shelkovoj?
Tam vstrechayus` ya s tvoeyu krasotoj.

Kak lebedushka vo stade golubej,
Sredi devushek odna ty' vsex vidnej!
Chto lan` by'stra, zlatorogaya v lesax,
S robkoj postup`yu gulyaesh` ty' v lugax.

Gordo strastny'j vzor razbegchivoj blesnul;
Molodeczkij krug nevol`no vozdoxnul,
Bujny' golovy' upali na plecha,
Lyudi shepchut: dlya kogo czvetet ona?

Nashi dushi znayut bole vsex lyudej,
Nashi vzory' govoryat vsego yasnej.
No kogda, skazhi, terpet` prestanu ya?
Dni ko mne begut, a schast`e - ot menya.

Pust` eshhyo ya ne mogu vladet` toboj,
Dlya chego zhe zapretil tiran mne zloj
Plakat`, videt`sya s krasavicej moej?
I slezam moim zaviduet, zlodej!
