by Aleksey Fyodorovich Merzlyakov (1778 - 1830)

Solovushko
Language: Russian (Русский)
Dlja chego letish', solovushko, k sadam?
Dlja solovushki alejet roza tam.
Chem ponravilsja luzhok mne shelkovoj?
Tam vstrechajus' ja s tvojeju krasotoj.

Kak lebedushka vo stade golubej,
Sredi devushek odna ty vsekh vidnej!
Chto lan' bystra, zlatorogaja v lesakh,
S robkoj postup'ju guljajesh' ty v lugakh.

Gordo strastnyj vzor razbegchivoj blesnul;
Molodeckij krug nevol'no vozdokhnul,
Bujny golovy upali na plecha,
Ljudi shepchut: dlja kogo cvetet ona?

Nashi dushi znajut bole vsekh ljudej,
Nashi vzory govorjat vsego jasnej.
No kogda, skazhi, terpet' prestanu ja?
Dni ko mne begut, a schast'e - ot menja.

Pust' jeshchjo ja ne mogu vladet' toboj,
Dlja chego zhe zapretil tiran mne zloj
Plakat', videt'sja s krasavicej mojej?
I slezam moim zavidujet, zlodej!
