Moisson pâle des lys épanouis aux cieux,
Qu’effeuilent en rêvant et d’un geste pieux,
Les anges assemblés, aux ailes de colombe.

Ô le secret languir au cœur aimant et seul ;
Lassitude à sa joie, attirance à sa peine,
Devant l’immensité morne sous le linceul
Que le vent engourdi peut soulever à peine.

Virginales blancheurs! Flocons immaculés !
Bercez sur vos frissons mes pensives alarmes,
Et sur l’azur blêmi, silencieux, coulez,
Comme des larmes !
