Stille Liebe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Holdsel'ger Jugend Prangen!
dein blaues Augen paar,
die Rosen deiner Wangen,
dein dunkelbraunes Haar,
In allen meinen Tagen
kommt mir's nicht aus dem Sinn,
ich kann es dir nicht sagen,
wie ich von dir gebannet bin.

Willst du mir sonst nichts geben,
so wehre doch dies mir nicht,
lass meine Augen erheben
zu deinem Angesicht,
lass meine Gedanken liegen
als Beter vor deinem Schrein,
und ewig bleib' es verschwiegen,
dass meine Seele dein!
