Fächelchen, Schreinchen, Alle voll Quästchen; Perlchen und Steinchen All' in den Kästchen! Blinkende Ringelchen, Schimmernde Kettchen, Goldene Dingelchen! Silberne Blättchen! Nadel und Nädelchen, Hacken und Häckchen, Faden und Fädelchen, Flecke und Fleckchen! Allerlei Wickelchen, Allerlei Schleifchen, Allerlei Zwickelchen, Allerlei Streifchen! In der Verwirrung Buntem Verstrick, Vor der Verirrung Banget der Blick. Welche gewaltige Zaubrin muß sein, Die das zwiespaltige Zwingt zum Verein? Calaixos, arquelles, tots plens d’andròmines; perles i gemes totes dins de caixetes! Anells brillants, cadenes lluents, galindaines daurades! Folis d’argent! Agulles de cap i de cosir, gafets i gafetes, fils i ficel•les, retalls i pedaços! Tota mena de cabdells, tota mena de llaços, tota mena de gaies, tota mena de cintes! En el desordre del variat embolic, davant el garbuix s’angoixa l’esguard. Quina poderosa fetillera ha de ser la que el desunit ho obligui a unir-se? Allà, de la porta, ella entra caminant. Mireu els cordons! Mireu les sivelles! Totes aquestes cosetes, com es belluguen, i fent petits bots van al seu envers! Totes les galindaines, cintes, cotilles, al voltant dels seus dits, al voltant dels seus membres! De sobte, de baix fins a dalt, resta embolcallada de la variada rampoina. Tot s’ordena sol, en silenci i harmoniosament es col•loca, s’acontenta, tal com ella vol. Els elements, ella els ha reunit, en la separació, la totalitat ha experimentat. I del vivent alè interior, s’esdevé vida, també al seu entorn. Creadora, desenvolupadora d’ornaments celestials, ets davant meu, la musa de la creació? On ets tu, amor, que poses d’acord l’enrenou terrenal, la purificadora? Car tan sols ambdues unifiqueu els variats joiells de l’existència humana. Car tan sols ambdues transformeu el no-res, el caos, en abillament de la llum celestial.
