Telle la Sisina ! Mais la douce guerrière
À l'âme charitable autant que meurtrière ;

Dianu mysli si, jak, lesy kvapíc, míjí,
neb hledá v křovinách a vkusný nese háv,
vlas, ňadra, ve větru, a lomozem se spíjí,
je lepší jezdců všech, a pyšný její mrav.

Zda Théroignu jsi zřel? je ráda, když se bijí,
a v útok pobádá lid bosý, bujných hlav,
tvář, oči, planou jí a v úlohu se vžijí,
když králů schodištěm, meč v pěsti, vede dav.

Je takou Sisina! Však, sladká bojovnice,
má duši laskavou tak, jak je vražednice;
ta smělost, již byl dřív prach bláznil, bubnů hlas,

vždy před prosebníky zbraň svoji k zemi kloní,
a srdce, plamenem tak zpustlé, v každý čas,
kdož hodni toho jsou, hned pro ně slzu roní.
