Nachthelle
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE ITA
Die Nacht ist heiter und ist rein,
Im allerhellsten Glanz:
Die Häuser schaun verwundert drein,
Stehn übersilbert ganz.

In mir ist's hell so wunderbar,
So voll und übervoll,
Und [waltet drinnen]1 frei und klar,
Ganz ohne Leid und Groll.

Ich faß' in meinem Herzenshaus
Nicht all das reiche Licht:
Es will hinaus, es muß hinaus,
[Ich halt' es länger nicht]2!

Claror de la nit
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
La nit és serena i pura,
en l’esclat més resplendent,
les cases esguarden meravellades,
totes cobertes d’argent.

A dintre meu tot també és clar i meravellós,
tan reblert i curull,
i regna lliure i clar,
enterament a dins, sense pena ni rancor.

A la mansió del meu cor
no puc contenir tota aquesta llum intensa,
ella vol sortir, ha de sortir
i cau l’ultima barrera.
