Lettisches Lied
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Latvian (Latviešu valoda)
Ich hör' im Himmel Rosse traben,
d'rauf sitzen Gottes schöne Knaben,
die keine Rast und Ruhe haben
in ihrer Minne heißem Brand.
Sie reiten über die blaue Heide,
aufsuchend ihre süße Weide,
der Sonne Töchter, die blanken Maide,
und bieten ihnen Herz und Hand.
