Ghele bloemkens spruiten aen der heiden
Ende die voghelkens singhen haren sanc.
Here god! waer sal ic mi vermeiden?
Al die werelt bli, ende ic in bedwanc.
 
Sal ic droevich wesen ic allene
Waer in weelden alles swerft wat leeft?
Sal ic wachten als op heten stene,
tot mijn leet, mijn wene mi begheeft?
 
Hert, mijn hert, wat sal dijn banghich claghen?
Manlic waghe bli te sijn en frisch;
Weten salstu haest in desen daghen,
Dat de lente di ooc comen is.
