Het reghende seer, ic en wert niet nat,
Ic dronker den coele wijn,
Want ic bi der herteliefste sat:
Wat mochte mi liever sijn!
 
Den dach verdween, ic bleef ende sat
Bi minen minnekijn,
Het reghende seer, ic en wert niet nat,
Voor mi bleeft sonnenschijn.
	
Wi spraken dit, wi spraken dat,
Ic ende mijn minnekijn,
Dat icker de hele werelt vergat:
Hoe soet was den coele wijn!
