Ja pomnju den', on čudno večerel
Language: Russian (Русский)
Ja pomnju den', on čudno večerel,
Derev'ja i luga pokrylisja rosoju,
Ves' gorizont kak purpurom gorel,
I pachlo v vozduche liš' skošennoj travoj.

Kakoj-to negoju dyšalo vse togda,
Priroda o ljubvi kak budto govorila,
Stojali my na beregu pruda,
Oblokotjas' na šatkie perila,

V ego lice svetilos' upoen'e,
Ogon' ljubvi gorel v ego očach
I žeg mne grud' otravoj naslažden'ja,
Tonul moj vzor v ich radužnych lučach.

Teper' isčezlo vse, daleko to mgnoven'e,
Po-prežnemu my cholodno gljadim,
I ravnodušnye, bez priznaka volnen'ja,

No liš' ustalyj den' smenjaetsja lunoj
I stichnet žizn', okovannaja snom,
Zavetnyj večer tot mercaet predo mnoju
I obraz milogo, sklonennyj nad prudom.
