by Nikolai Platonovich Ogaryov (1813 - 1877)

Jeshchjo ljubvi bezumno serdce prosit
Language: Russian (Русский)
Jeshchjo ljubvi bezumno serdce prosit,
Ljubvi vzaimnoj, vechnoj i svjatoj,
Kotoruju ni vremja ne unosit,
Ni gubit svet mertvjashchej sujetoj;
Bezumno serdce prosit zhenskoj laski,
I chudnaja mechta nasheptyvajet skazki.

No tshchetno vse!.. otveta net zhelan'ju;
V ispuge mysl' opjat' nazad bezhit
I brodit trepetno v vospominan'e...
No proshlogo nichto ne voskresit!
Zamolkshij zvuk opjat' zvuchat' ne mozhet
I pamjat' tol'ko on gnetet ili trevozhit.

I strakh beret, chto chuvstvo skhoronilos';
Po nem v dushe pechal'no, kholodno,
Kak v dome, gde utrata sovershilas':
Khozjain umer - pusto i temno;
Lepechet pop nadgrobnye stranicy,
I brodjat v komnatakh vse pasmurnye licy.
