by Aleksey Vasil'yevich Kol'tsov (1808 - 1842)

Dom lesnika
Language: Russian (Русский)
V temnom lese, za rekoj,
Stoit domik nebol'šoj,
S dvumja svetlymi oknami,
S raspašnymi vorotami.

Pod zamkom te vorota,
I kalitka zaperta -
Čtob ne všel tuda rogatyj,
Lešij strašnyj i kosmatyj;

Čtob ne všel tuda upyr',
Ni proezžij bogatyr'.
Kto ž živet tut odinoko,
Ot žil'ja krugom daleko?

Rybolov li nebogatyj?
Il' razbojnik borodatyj
V nem spasaetsja mol'boj,
S sundukami i kaznoj?

Živet v dome s davnich por -
Karaulit carskij bor -
Lesnoj starosta, s ženoju,
S tret'ej dočkoj molodoju.

I dlja nej starik sedoj
Zamykaet domik svoj,-
Čtoby v kamenny palaty
Ne uvez kupec bogatyj;

Čtob bojarin okružnoj
Ne pril'nul by k molodoj
Bezotvjaznoj povilikoj,-
Čtob ne byt' ej goremykoj.
