by Nikolay Grigorevich Tsyganov (1797 - 1832)

Begljanka
Language: Russian (Русский)
Karknul voron na bereze,
Svistnul voin na kone.
Pogibat' tebe, krasotka,
V čužedal'noj storone.

Ach! Začem, začem bežala
Ty za tridevjat' polej?
Dlja čego ne razmyšljala
Ty ob učasti svoej?

Vse pokinula, zabyla:
Prach otca, starušku mat';
I rešilasja otčiznu
Na čužbinu promenjat'.

To li sčast'e, čtoby oči
Milym serdcu veselit',
Posle imi ž dni i noči
Bezotradno slezy lit'?

Neužel' ty ne slychala,
Ob izmene nikogda?
Neužl' ty polagala
V serdce vernost' navsegda!

Bylo nekomu, bednjažku,
Poučit' menja umu,
I golodnoj vol'noj ptaškoj
JA popalas' v set' k nemu.

Nikogo ja ne sprosila,
Krome serdca svoego:
Uvidala, poljubila…
I umru, ljubja ego!

Karknul voron na bereze,
Svistnul voin na kone.
I krasotka pogibaet
V čužedal'noj storone.
