by Ivan Vasilyevich Gruzinov (1893 - 1942)

Mesjac vstal i ozarjajet sad serebrjannym...
Language: Russian (Русский)
Mesjac vstal i ozarjajet
Sad serebrjanym luchom,
Svet tainstvennyj igrajet
Na lugakh i nad prudom.
Dyshit vsjo prokhladoj sladkoj,
Tishina sredi polej.
I, kak budto by ukradkoj,
Pesnju nachal solovej.

On pojet vostorgi schast'ja,
Gromche pesn', slyshnej ona!
I ljubvi, i nezhnoj strasti
Perelivnaja polna.
No toska mne dushu szhala,
Slezy l'jutsja iz ochej.
Vspomnil ja: ona pevala,
Kak pojet moj solovej.

I pred mnoj vstajet byloje:
Mnogo schast'ja uteklo,
Mnogo, mnogo gore zloje
Mne na serdce ran zazhglo.
Ne rasstat'sja mne s toskoju,
Ne vernut' mne prezhnikh dnej,
I ja slushaju s slezoju,
Kak pojet moj solovej.
