На небе алой полосой ;
Село беззвучно засыпает
В сияньи ночи голубой;
И только песня, замирая,
В уснувшем воздухе звучит,
Да ручеек, струей играя,
С журчаньем по лесу бежит...
Какая ночь! Как великаны,
Деревья сонные стоят,
И изумрудные поляны
В глубокой мгле безмолвно спят...
В капризных, странных очертаньях
Несутся тучки в небесах;
Свет с тьмой в роскошных сочетаньях
Лежит на листве и стволах...
С отрадой жадной грудь вдыхает
В себя прохладные струи,
И снова в сердце закипает
Желанье счастья и любви...
