Doroga
Language: Russian (Русский)
Gluxaya step` — doroga daleka,
Vokrug menya volnuet veter pole,
Vdali tuman — mne grustno ponevole,
I tajnaya beryot menya toska.
Kak koni ni begut — mne kazhetsya, lenivo
Oni begut. V glazax odno i to zh —
Vsyo step` da step`, za nivoj snova niva.
— Zachem, yamshhik, ty' pesni ne poyosh`?
I mne v otvet yamshhik moj borodaty'j:
— Pro chyorny'j den` my' pesnyu berezhyom.
— Chemu zh ty' rad? — Nedaleko do xaty' —
Znakomy'j shest mel`kaet za bugrom.
I vizhu ya: navstrechu derevushka,
Solomoj kry't stoit krest`yanskij dvor,
Stoyat skirdy'. — Znakomaya lachuzhka,
Zhiva l` ona, zdorova li s tex por?
Vot kry'ty'j dvor. Pokoj, privet i uzhin
Najdyot yamshhik pod krovleyu svoej.
A ya ustal — pokoj davno mne nuzhen;
No net ego… Menyayut loshadej.
Nu-nu, zhivej! Dolga moya doroga —
Sy'raya noch` — ni xaty', ni ognya —
Yamshhik poyot — v dushe opyat` trevoga —
Pro chyorny'j den` net pesni u menya.
