by Ivan Alekseyevich Bunin (1870 - 1953)

V pojezde
Language: Russian (Русский)
Vsjo shire vol'nye polja
Prokhodjat mimo nas krugami;
I khutora i topolja
Plyvut, skryvajas' za poljami.

Vot pod goroju skit svjatoj
V boru belejet za lugami…
Vot most zheleznyj nad rekoj
Promchalsja s grokhotom pod nami,

A vot i les! — I gul idet
Pod stuk koles v lesu zelenom;
Berez veselykh khorovod,
Shumja, vstrechajet nas poklonom.

Ot parovoza belyj dym,
Kak khlop'ja vaty, raspolzajas',
Plyvet, cepljajetsja po nim,
K zemle bespomoshchno sklonjajas'…

No uzh opjat' kusty poshli,
Opjat' derev'ev stroj redejet,
I beskonechnaja vdali
Step' razvernulas' i sinejet,

Opjat' privol'nye polja
Prokhodjat mimo nas krugami,
I khutora i topolja
Plyvut, skryvajas' za poljami.
