Dobre torhuvalos'
Language: Ukrainian (Українська)
Čy v Kyjevi, čy v Poltavi,
Čy v samij stolyci
Chodyv čumak z maznyceju
Pomežy kramnyci.

I v kramnycjach, kudy hljaneš, --
Sriblom-zlotom sjaje, --
A jomu to i bajduže:
Vin d'ohtju pytaje!

Rehotjat' kupci durniï,
A vin til'ky spljune
Ta j do druhoï kramnyci,
Bahatšoï, sune.

V najbahatšiï kramnyci
Dva kupci sydilo,
I tudy čumak zachodyt'
Z maznyceju smilo:

"Dobryden' vam, dobri ljudy!"
Ta j začav pytaty,
Čy nema u nych prynajmni
D'ohtju de prodaty.

"Njetu, njetu! — kupci kažut'
Ta j, šel'my, smijut'sja: —
Zdjes' nje d'ohot' — tol'ki durni
Adni prodajut'sja!"

A čumak ïm: "To nivroku ž,
Dobre torhuvalos',
Ščo jno dva vas takych harnych
Na prodaž ostalos'".
