Psalmus 130 (131)
Language: Latin  after the Hebrew (עברית)
1 [Canticum graduum David.]
Domine, non est exaltatum cor meum,
  neque elati sunt oculi mei,
  neque ambulavi in magnis,
  neque in mirabilibus super me.
2 Si non humiliter sentiebam,
  sed exaltavi animam meam:
sicut ablactatus est super matre sua,
  ita retributio in anima mea.
3 Speret Israël in Domino,
ex hoc nunc et usque in sæculum.

Mein Herz ist nicht hoffärtig
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Latin
1
Herr! Mein Herz ist nicht hoffärtig,
  und meine Augen sind nicht stolz;
und wandle nicht in großen Dingen,
  die mir zu hoch sind.
2 Wenn ich meine Seele
  nicht setzete und stillete,
  so ward meine Seele entwöhnet,
wie einer von der Mutter entwöhnet wird.
3 Mein Herz, hoffe auf den Herrn,
von nun an bis in Ewigkeit!
