by Dániel Berzsenyi (1776 - 1836)

A tavasz
Language: Hungarian (Magyar)
A tavasz rózsás kebelét kitárva,
Száll alá langyos levegőn mezőnkre.
Balzsamos fürtjén Zephyrek repesnek,
S illatot isznak.

Alkotó aethert lehel a világra,
Mellyre a zárt föld kipihenve ébred;
Számtalan létek lekötött csirái
S magvai kelnek.

Flóra zsengét nyujt mosolyogva néki.
Nyomdokin rózsák s violák fakadnak,
A vidám Tréfák, Örömek, Szerelmek
Lejtnek utána.

Én is idvezlő dalomat kiöntöm,
S egy virágbimbót tüzök, édes Emmim,
Gyenge melledhez: valamint te, olly szép,
S mint mi, mulandó!
