by Konstantin Dmitrevich Bal'mont (1867 - 1942)

Zolotaja zvezda
Language: Russian (Русский)
Zolotaja zvezda nad Zemlëju v prostranstve letela,
I s Lazuri na sonnuju Zemlju upast' zachotela.

Obol'stilas' ona golubymi zemnymi cvetami,
Izumrudnoj travoj i šuršaščimi v polnoč' listami.

I, raskinuvši put' zolotoj po Lazuri bezdonnoj,
Poletela kak angel — kak angel prestupno-vljublënnyj.

Čem bystrej uletala ona, tem blistala jasnee,
I gorela, sgorala, v vostorge ljubvi plameneja.

I, zardevšis' blaženstvom, ona ustupila bessil'ju,
I, Zemli ne kosnuvšis', rassypalas' jarkoju pyl'ju.

Confirmed with К. Д. Бальмонт, Полное собрание стихов, Том первый, Издание четвертое, M. : Изд. Скорпіонъ, 1914
