La luna ascosa in bianco vel,
D'amor gli sguardi ne in via dal ciel.
Ristà natura e s'ode sol
Il remo lieve lieve del barcarol.
Deh! tutto tace, non far rumor
La notte parla mistero e amor.

i se sent el cant del mariner,
la lluna amaga amb un vel blanc
els esguards d'amor en el camí del cel.	 
Resta la natura i només se sent
el rem lleuger del barquer.
Ah! tot calla, no facis soroll,
la nit parla de misteri i d'amor.
