by Friedrich Rückert (1788 - 1866)

Der Wettermacher
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wenn sich das Wetter schlecht läßt an,
Hab‘ ich den Trost erdacht:
Der Himmel, der es ändern kann,
Der sehe zu! was geht‘s mich an?
Hab ich‘s doch nicht gemacht!

Und wann die Luft sich aufgehellt,
Wie es mein Herz begehrt,
Dann blick‘ ich freudig in die Welt,
Als hätte man‘s bei mir bestellt,
Und ich hätt‘ es beschert.
