Frugal ristor, che amor m'appresta sol; un campicell', che non ha imposte ancor; un vecchio buon vicin, che m'ama ognor; Un chiaro cielo, un puro sangue in sen ed al lavor il cor seren. Sì bel destin! tu invidi forse a me? L'avessi io pur, per farne parte a te!
