  Quelle des Wohlthun's und Bronnen der Lust,
Hoch auf dem Throne doch trägt sie noch reicher
  Segen der Völker in heiliger Brust.

Hoch auf dem Throne und näher dem Himmel
  Spendet sie doppelt das Heil und das Glück,
Doch das ist Aussaat auf fruchtbarem Boden:
  Liebe der Völker zahlt reichlich zurück! --

The dedication greeting of the nations

Love, born in Eden, is ever the well-spring
  Of beneficence and the fount of joy,
High upon the throne, however, [love] more richly
  Carries the blessing of the nations in its holy bosom.

High upon the throne and closer to Heaven,
  It bestows twofold blessings and happiness,
But that is a sowing upon fertile soil:
  The love of the nations gives a rich recompense! --
