Der leidige Frieden
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE ITA LIT
Der leidige Frieden
Hat lange gewährt,
Wir warten geschieden,
Mein gutes Schwert!

Derweil ich gekostet
Im Keller den Wein,
Hingst du verrostet
An der Wand allein.

Von Sorte zu Sorte
Probiert' ich den Wein,
Indessen dorrte
Das Blut dir ein.

Ist endlich entglommen
Der heiße Streit,
Mein Schwert, und gekommen
Ist deine Zeit.

Ich [gab]1 deiner Klingen
Den blanken Schliff,
Ich lasse dich singen
Den Todespfiff.

Im Pulvernebel
Die Arbeit rauscht,
Wir haben, o Säbel,
Die Freuden getauscht.

Im brausenden Moste,
Mein durstiges Erz,
Betrinke dich, koste
Von Herz zu Herz.

Derweil du gekostet
Das rote Blut,
Ist mir eingerostet
Der Hals vor Glut.

La pau desplaent
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
La pau desplaent
ha durat massa,
estàvem separats,
bona espasa meva!

Mentre tastava
el vi al celler,
tu et rovellaves,
solitària, a la paret.

Provava els vins
de tots tipus
mentre la teva sang
s’assecava.

Finalment ha esclatat
la flagrant batalla,
espasa meva,
ha arribat el teu moment.

He polit la teva fulla
fins a fer-la lluent,
et deixo cantar
el xiulet de la mort.

En el fum de la pólvora
bramula l’afany,
hem bescanviat, oh sabre,
els nostres goigs.

En el most escumejant,
assedegat acer meu,
embriaga’t, tasta
de cor en cor.

Mentre tu tastes
la sang vermella,
se’m rovella
la gola de la xardor.
