S’estremeix i es debat a la llum de la lluna car, amb un poderós impuls, sorgeix de les seves profunditats, acaronant, la turbulent primavera del teu amor. Oh, concedeix-me un darrer somni, tu, criatura de les galtes vermelles: sigues-me fidel fins que les fulles del saüc hagin marxat arremolinades per el vent, voldria mitigar el dolor del comiat amb quelcom insòlit i nou, morint, voldria prémer al meu cor un cor de dona – un cor fidel.
