Bist du denn wirklich so fern, lieblicher, glänzender Stern? Sehne mich stündlich von hier, Wandelnder, heimlich zu dir. Blickest so hell durch die Nacht, still, bis die Sorge erwacht, schimmerst am Morgen noch spät, matt, wenn die Sonne ersteht. Winket dein freundliches Licht Frieden und Ruhe mir nicht? Schau ich dich, blinkenden Stern, möcht' ich ja sterben so gern.
