Fort ist Rock und fort die Litzen!
  Hört! Frau Sonne war verliebt;
Ganz bestimmt ich's weiß:
  Und in mich war sie verliebt,
Drum ward mir so heiß.

Ihres Auges glühend RUnd
  Spähte stets nach mir,
Überall verfolgt sie mich,
  Und nirgends RUh vor ihr!
Schweißes perlen, großen Durst
  Schaffte diese Lieb'.
Als gestillt der Höllenbrand,
  Nichts im Sack mir blieb.

Sempre suant, sempre seient:
fora la jaqueta, fora els galons!
Escolteu! El senyor sol es va enamorar,
ho sé ben bé del cert,
i es va enamorar de mi,
per això tenia tanta calor.

Els seus ulls rodons i fulgurants
em sotjaven constantment,
em seguien per tot arreu
i enlloc em deixaven en pau!
Perles de suor, una gran set
va produir aquest amor.
Quan aquest foc infernal fou extingit,
no em restà res a la butxaca.
