 Blau funkt das feuchte Beet,
Es ist ein still' Erwarten,
Das heimlich durch den Garten
 Auf dunklem Kiese geht.

Weich schauert durch die Runde
 Ein Duften hauchgeführt.
Herzpochend staunt die Stunde,
Was hat die dunkle Runde
 So heilig nur berührt?

és un silenciós aguait
que travessa secretament el jardí
damunt l’ombrívola grava.

Suau, fremeix a través de la ronda,
una flaire portada per l’hàlit.
L’hora s’esbalaeix amb el cor bategant,
què ha pogut tocar l’ombrívola ronda
tan sagradament?
